Fifteen Years of Watching How People Live
After fifteen years in global beauty and fashion, I'd seen how differently people live, shop, travel, and choose the things they bring into their lives. Along the way, I found myself wanting to create something of my own, something that could travel farther than I could.
Choosing the Unfamiliar
When it came time to choose where PageA would begin, I chose the U.S.
Not because it felt familiar. Quite the opposite.
It was far away and big enough to make me wonder if something I created here in Korea could find a place in someone's everyday life all the way over there. A bag imagined at my desk in Seoul, traveling across the Pacific and eventually ending up in someone's suitcase somewhere in the U.S.
I didn't have to go anywhere. I stayed exactly where I was. I just decided to reach a little farther.
